Excellent news that these murderous thugs have finally been found guilty.excellent news that the double jeopardy rules had been abolished.always good to see scum locked up.Er. The appeal will not involve an impassioned plea to a jury, but a dry look at the safety of the conviction.Not over the line yet.Also (more to tax exile but couldn't be bothered to find his original post), they scrapped the double jeopardy and brought in something wherebye if you were involved in an affray (i.e) at the scene and someone is killed you can now get done for the murder. I can't remember the exact term they used but they were discussing it on BBC 5 Live yesterday.

I'm fairly certain that would get lobbed out on appeal.It was brought in between the cases.They only got tried again because they scrapped double jeopardy after all. Anyone know what the ethnic make up of the jury?I have a feeling they are probably guilty, but the evidence is not there andI feel the speck of blood was planted, which is a slippery slope top go down.Also why after the first trial and the not guilty verdict, was the jacket,which the blood was later found on not returned to the defendant?Are the police allowed to keep peoples possessions for ever?or just a case of the defendants been too poor to have a slick lawyer to demand them back.
