Tagore composed over 2500 songs, creating a new musical style that was called after him: Rabindra Sangeet. His music is deeply rooted in Bangla, Baul, and Hindu tradition, but also shows Western influences.On this page is an overview of the almost 1700 songs that are part of the Gitabitan release I and II.

The transcription of the titles follows that of the Gitabitan release.What I plan to provide in the future with this overview is establishing a link between a Rabindra Sangeet, its translation as part of a Western publication, and whether that poem or music is somehow used in a composition. Any correction or addition is, as always, very welcome.
