It sounds like this happens 100% of the time when you try it from the Word Online Chrome app, is that correct?There aren't many issues which would result in 100% failure from the chrome app, but still allow success from onedrive.com. One thing I noticed is that your OneDrive does not contain a Documents folder.
By default, the Word Online app tries to create newfiles in the Documents folder. Could you try creating a folder called 'Documents' in your OneDrive, and seeing if it works then? (It should work even without you having this folder, but I think it's worth a try - and it it works, it would give us a bugto look at).If this doesn't work, I'll need some help from you to find out what is going wrong in your exact session. Here's what I need you to do:1. Open the Chrome Developer Tools (Menu - More Tools - Developer Tools)2.
Go to the network pane and check preserve log3. Try to create a new document4.
After you get the error, find the request named 'CreateNewDocument.aspx' and click on it.5. Click 'Headers'6. Copy the value in X-CorrelationId and reply with it here.Using this Correlation Id I'll be able to find the server logs for your session and see what exactly is going wrong. It looks like there's a space ' ' at the beginning of your document, but since the default file name is always the same we're not surewhere it's coming from.We're continuing to look into this.
